Outlook 2003/2007 Splitting your Screen between Mail Inbox and Calendar
How to display your Inbox for email and your Calendar for maximum viewing of both items at the same time.
For those of us who use Outlook, we sometimes need our Inbox open and available as well as a full view of our Calendar. Recently I was upgrading a new client from an older laptop to a newer one and he had an interesting arrangement of his screen. See Below. You ask ... how do you do that?
- Start Outlook
- In the Navigation Pane, right-click on Calendar and then click "Open in a new Window". This will give you another window instance of Calendar.
- Now click on the upper menu bar for, click on the View menu and uncheck the Navigation Pane.
- Right-Click on the Taskbar and click "Tile Windows Vertically".
You should now be able to view your inbox AND calendar at the same time:
