System Features
Allworx is the ONLY fully integrated communication system for small businesses. The most feature-rich IP phone and data system that supports both traditional and VoIP phone lines, all at the lowest installed cost. Features such as:
- Voice mail – Allworx voicemail can be retrieved at any extension on the system and remotely when you dial into the office. Allworx voicemail can automatically be emailed to any email addresses you specify.
- Presence setting – you can control the message callers hear and how calls are forwarded by changing your office presence. For example, you can configure call routes for when you are In Office, At A Meeting, On Vacation, At Home or Away. Presence settings also control the auto message played to the caller when you are not available to pick up the call.
- Call Following – you can configure a call route such that if a call comes into your office phone and you are someplace else, the call will automatically ring one or more other numbers. For example, you can specify your home phone and your cell phone. All other phones stop ringing when you answer the call on any one of the numbers you specified.
- Remote Access – Because the Allworx phone is IP based, you can take an Allworx telephone anywhere in the world and connect to your office system. Where ever you are, you will still be an extension on the system. When someone calls for you at the office, the call can be transferred to your extension and will ring no matter where in the world you are, as long as the phone is connected to the Internet.
The Allworx phone system can use any combination of connectivity for telephone service. It will work with traditional copper phone lines, T1, PRI, VoIP and SIP – in any combination.
